Thatched Roof

I found this wooden bug catcher at Michael's and immediately thought, "this is fairy-sized."  I took the screening off and spray painted with a stone texture spray paint.

This little fairy is sleeping in an Altoids tin all snug and comfy.

The thatched roof is actually a coconut line for a flower pot.  It looks like the perfect thatched roof.  Oh, how I want to live in England :) someday  or at least visit.

Upcycled Cottage

We needed a new cottage for hosting baking parties, or, at least, that's what l was told :)  This little 2 year old certainly has opinions. I cut out a 3 wall frame (easy access for little hands) out of a cardboard box and added scrapbook paper.

Then...it was a party!  Music and animals and yummy treats!

All the scrapbook papers are from Micheals.

Where is Spring?

 This was my drive this morning.  Ahhh, Ohio weather.  The saying is...If you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait 5 minutes.  It will change.  I am waiting...

 and waiting...

 and waiting...

I decided that it IS rather beautiful and not especially cold.  So on March 25th, I am going to enjoy (I use that word loosely) this winter wonderland.
