Zebra in the Garden?

A zebra in the garden?!?

Well, sure. . Why not? That's the way children's imaginations work. Don't correct them...just go with the flow.

If you are specifically teaching habits of the zebra, then you could gently say, "Actually, zebras live here on the map. Let me show you."

But if they are imaginatively playing, let zebras run in the garden or monkeys swim with dolphins.

Aren't imaginations amazing?
