Besides, a baby shower this afternoon, today is also homecoming. Whew! Busy day. Ash looked so beautiful and her date was handsome. Their theme is Enchanted Atlantis, so Ash wanted the accessories to coordinate. I made his boutonniere and her corsage and her earrings. Fun!
Happy Homecoming!

Baby Sprinkle (not a full shower)
Today, we had a Baby Sprinkle - not a full baby shower - for my beautiful sister in-law. It's called a "sprinkle", because it's her second and we requested only pink clothes. I made it a pink and princess-y and girly party. All the guests had to wear tiaras. I found the above tiara at ShirleyTemplesTutus on etsy. She custom made it for me. Such a sweet lady.
My mom found these cute tutus at the dollar store and we dressed up the flavored water bar. We had lemon water, cucumber water, and raspberry mint water. Everyone was mixing the lemon and raspberry mint - sooo good.
My sister in-law (and me too!) is a big Harry Potter fan, so I added a hint of Harry Potter by putting pink roses in a white owl - Hedwig - to the party :)
Even the cheese picks had tiaras on them. Thanks to a paper punch and hot glue - so easy!
I added a clothesline of pink onesies that I cut out of scrapbook paper.
Her home is beautiful and the hints of pink and gold just made it so special. Yes, we had it at the mama to be's house. That way she didn't have to pack up and lug everything home and she is in her own home and can be comfortable. Plus, my mom went over this week and cleaned it top to bottom. Mama to be said that was a gift in itself.
I love covering soup cans with scrapbook paper and using them as vases. I tied a pretty pink bow and added fresh baby's breath - fitting, right?
She was surrounded with some of the wonderful women in her life and got tons of pink and girly clothes, blankets, teeny tiny coats, and bath towels.
Good golly, she's glowing!

Are you...are you a Pinterest addict? Well, it's your lucky day. My in-laws have a 40x80ft Amish-built barn in Johnstown, Ohio FULL of chairs for that Pinterest wedding you are planning or china cabinets than need a splash of bright paint for your future home. The sale is Oct 4th & 5th.
I made some pins. On the left is a pin found on Pinterest. The right is something similar found in their barn. Go ahead, swoon away.
